ROLE OF WOMEN DURING RAMDAN
During the month of Ramadan the role of a woman is to fast from sunrise to sunset, abstaining from water, other drinks and from having intercourse with a man.
Every woman must fast but in case of menstruation or child birth, the woman should not fast even if she wants to fast
The Muslim woman, like the Muslim man is called upon to believe in Allah, the Day of Judgement, the Book, the Angels, and the Prophets, etc.
She is also asked to perform prayers, pay out the Zakat duty, fast in the month of Ramadan and perform Pilgrimage to the Holy Places if she can do so.
Eating, drinking, and sexual activities are not allowed between dawn (fajr), and sunset (maghrib).
Fasting is considered an act of deeply personal worship in which Muslims seek a raised level of closeness to God.
It helps them acknowledge Allah as the source of all sustenance
During the hours of fasting on each day of Ramadan, any intimate activity is not allowed.
This means it's only ok for couples to kiss, hug, cuddle and have sex in the hours before fasting begins and after it ends - as long as they are husband and wife.

As a wife, she is expected to serve her husband, preparing food, clothing and other personal needs.
As a mother, she has to take care of the children and their needs, including education.
As a worker, she has to be professional, disciplined and a good employee.

Women are the primary caregivers of children and elders in every country of the world. International studies demonstrate that when the economy and political organization of a society change, women take the lead in helping the family adjust to new realities and challenges.
