Khadija bint Khuwaylid enjoys a great prestige and a great position among all Islamic sects. Abu Hurairah narrated: “The Messenger of God said: The best women of the worlds are four: Maryam bint Imran, Asiya the daughter of Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh, Khadija bint Khuwaylid, and Fatimah bint Muhammad.”
And Jibril, peace be upon him, came to the Prophet once and said: “O Messenger of God, this is Khadija. She brought you a bowl containing persimmons, food, or drink. If she comes to you, then recite peace upon her from her Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, and from me, and give her the glad tidings of a house in Paradise made of reeds, in which there is no noise or fatigue.” ».

Khadija bint Khuwaylid was born in Mecca fifteen years before the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, that is, she was born in the year 556 AD. Bin Nawfal shows him her dreams, and all the feelings he goes throughAnd a vision you see, or an obsession you feel.

her marriage
There is a difference between the Islamic sects about Khadija’s marriage, so the Sunnis held that Khadija had married twice before her marriage to the Prophet, so the Prophet would be her third husband.
As soon as Khadija reached the age of marriage, she became the focus of attention of the youth of Quraysh and the supervision of the Arabs. She was a girl of clear mind, of noble origin, and one of the oldest houses of Quraysh in lineage. Abu Hala bin Zarara bin al-Nabash al-Tamimi married her, and she lived with him for a short period of time, and she bore him two sons: Hind and Hala. Then he died, leaving her a huge fortune, and after him she married Ateeq binAadh Al-Makhzoumi, then he divorced her, and it was said: Rather, he passed away from her after she had a daughter named Hind from him. Imam Al-Dhahabi said: “Khadija was first under Abu Hala bin Zarara Al-Tamimi, then he succeeded her after Ateeq bin Abid bin Abdullah Ibn Umar bin Makhzoum, then after him The Prophet, so he built it when he was twenty-five years old, and it was fifteen years older than him.” Al-Baladhuri said:“Khadija was before the Messenger of God with Abu Hala Hind bin Al-Nabash bin Zarara Al-Asidi from Tamim, so she bore him Hind bin Abi Hala, who was named after his father, then Ateeq bin Abed bin Abdullah bin Omar bin Makhzoum succeeded her after him, so he divorced her, so the Prophet married her, and she was named Warqa Ibn Nawfal, so God Almighty preferred it to His Prophet.

Khadija used to send men in her trade to the Levant and Yemen, and she was always scrutinizing and scrutinizing whom she chose in order to ensure the safety of her money and the greatness of her profit. In the pre-Islamic era, a man appeared to them, and when he approached, he called outIn the loudest voice: O women of Taima, there will be a prophet in your country called Ahmed who will send the message of God, so any woman who is able to be his wife should do so. Her money is a merchant to the Levant, and it was even said that Abu Talib bin Abdul MuttalibThe uncle of the Messenger was the one who referred to him as working in Khadija’s trade and said to him: “I am a man who has no money, and the time has become very difficult for us, and this is the caravan of your people. to you.”
And Khadija was informed of what the Messenger and his uncle were talking about, so she sent for him about that, and said: I give you twice what I give a man of your people. an order and to monitor its conditions for it, and made the uncles of the Messenger recommend it to the people of the caravan, so when they came to Bosra fromAl-Sham, they camped in the shade of a tree, and Nestor the monk said: No one ever sat under this tree but a prophet, then he said to Maysara: Is there redness in his eyes? Maysara said: Yes, it does not leave him. He said: He is a prophet, and he is the last of the prophets. A man swore, and a man said, “I swear by Al-Lat and Al-Uzza.” The Messenger said: “I never swear by them, and I am not a man.” So he turned away from them. The man said:The saying is your saying, then he said to Maysara: This, by God, is a prophet that our rabbis find mentioned in their books, and Maysara was when the migration was hot and the heat was intense, he saw two angels shade the Messenger from the sun, so he understood all of that Maysara, and God had bestowed upon him love from Maysara, so it was as if he was his slave, and they sold Their trade and they won twice what they used to profit, so when they returned they were in Dhahran and he saidMaysara: O Muhammad, go to Khadija, and tell her what God made for her on your face, for she knows that for you, so Muhammad advanced until he entered Mecca at noon, and Khadija was in her attic, and she saw him while he was on his camel, and he entered upon her, so he told her what they had won in their trade, so she explained that, so when Maysara came to her and told her what the monk Nestor said, and what the other one who disagreed with him said about meSelling, and she had earned double what she used to earn, and she was weak for Muhammad twice what she called him.

Her marriage to the Messenger
Khadija started thinking about Muhammad after she heard it from her boy Maysara, and after she saw his honesty and sincerity, she revealed her secret to her friend, Nafisa, the sister of the companion, Ali bin Umayyah, and said: “Oh, Nafisa, I see in Muhammad bin Abdullah what I do not see in other men, for he is the truthful and honest.” And he is the honorable, the wise, and he is the generous, and to that he has amazing and important newsStrange, and I heard what my boy Maysarah said about him, and I saw what he was shadowing when he came to us from his travels, and what the monks talked about him, and my heart is almost certain that he is the prophet of this nation.” He offered him an intrigue, he offered her marriage to him, and he accepted. It was said that Khadija sent to the Messenger, and she said to him: O son ofUncle, I wanted you because of your kinship, your middleness among your people, your trustworthiness, your good manners, and the sincerity of your speech, then she offered herself to him.

After Muhammad was satisfied with marrying Khadija, he spoke to his uncles Abu Talib, Abbas, and Hamza, so they went to Khadija’s uncle and betrothed her to him. We have a house of pilgrimage, a sanctuary that is secure, and We have made people rulersMy brother, this is Muhammad bin Abdullah. A man from Quraysh is not weighed in terms of honor, nobility, and merit, but he is more likely than not. And if he is in a state, then money is a fleeting shadow, a barrier, and a reclaimed loan. Get rich and countries like this... And after this, by God, he has great news and great speeches, and he has a desire in Khadija bint Khuwaylid, and she has the same in him, and whatever you like of the dowry, I do.” Then Waraqah bin Nawfal replied to him and said: “Praise be to God who made us as I mentioned and preferred us over what I enumerated, so we are The masters of the Arabs and their leaders, and you are the people of all this. The clan does not deny your favor, and none of the people rejects your pride and honor. And we wanted to communicate with your rope and your honor, so bear witness against me, the Quraysh, that I have married Khadija, the daughter of Khuwaylid, to Muhammad bin Abdullah on such and such.” Then he was silent. Muhammad bin Abdullah married Khadija bint Khuwaylid.” As a result, the marriage took place, and she was conceivedMuhammad slaughtered camels and was said to have slaughtered two camels and fed the people. The Banu Hashim and the heads of Mudar attended the contract, and that was two months after Muhammad returned from the Levant, and he did twenty virginity to her, and her age at that time was forty years. He marries another woman until she dies. Ibn Saad narrated in Al-Tabaqat on the authority ofAl-Waqidi: “And the Messenger of God married her when he was twenty-five years old, and Khadija at that time was forty years old.”
And in this marriage, a verse was revealed: And he found you a breadwinner, so he made you rich, that is, a poor person who had no money for you, so he enriched you with Khadija.

Khadija lived with the Prophet for fifteen years before his mission, surrounding him with all care, care, and attention, and these years were the years in which Khadija was preoccupied with giving birth to her children, except for Abdullah, who was born after the mission. And Fatima Al-Zahra, then Abdullah who knewWith the pure goodness, Khadija was busy raising her children, then God willing, Al-Qasim died, and during this period the Messenger asked his uncle Abu Talib, and he noticed the large number of children he had, to give him Ali to raise him, he wanted to relieve him, and Khadija took care of him with the fullest care, and when Al-Awam bin Khuwaylid died Al-Zubayr left behind him when he was two years old, so Khadija decided toHe took care of him and took care of him, so Al-Zubayr grew up between the house of his aunt Khadija and the house of his mother Safiyyah bint Abd al-Muttalib, the aunt of the Prophet. Choose, aunt, whichever of these boys you want, it is yours, so she chose Zaid, so she took him, and a messenger saw himGod is with her, so he gave him a gift from her, so she gave him to him, so the Messenger of God freed him and adopted him, and that was before it was revealed to him, so he was like a son from Khadija, and she cared for him with the best care, and this righteous upbringing had a great impact on these people following the light of Islam, so “Ali” was the first to embrace Islam Of the boys, and "Zubayr" of the first to enter Islam and Zaid bin Haritha, the second ofThe safest of men after Ali.

The Messenger Muhammad was continuing his journey by himself, by worshiping him in the cave of Hira, far from people, and Khadija was busy with the family and providing what it needed, at the time when she was busy with her trade that she spent on the family, and yet she used to go to him in the cave of Hira to provide him with food and drink. Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani said: “She was keen to satisfy him with everythingIt is possible, and nothing from her ever made him angry, as it happened to others.” Khadija says to him, Nabaa said: I saw a wonder, it is only that Khadija heard of him, so she went out to the door and took his handSo she held her to her chest and slaughtered her, then she said: May my father and mother be sacrificed for me, by God, I do not do this for anything, but I hope that you will be the prophet who will be resurrected. What I never lose, and if it be other than me, the God for whom you are doing this will never lose you.”

And whenever the Messenger saw a vision, he narrated it to Khadija. Muhammad bin Yusuf al-Salihi al-Shami narrated: “The Messenger of God once saw in a dream that the roof of his house was removed from it, and a silver ladder was inserted into it, then two men descended to him, so he wanted to seek help, but he was prevented from speaking, so he sat One of them is to him and the other to his side, so one of them inserted his hand into his side and removed two ribs from him, then inserted his hand into my chestHis hollow, and the Messenger of God found their cold, so he took out his heart and put it on his palm, and said to his friend: Yes, the heart is the heart of a righteous man, so he purified his heart and washed it, then inserted the heart in its place, and returned the two ribs, then they rose, and raised her ladder, so if the ceiling is as it is, then he mentioned that to Khadija, and she said to him: Preach, for God does nothing but good for you. This is good, so give glad tidings.”

Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Aisha, the mother of the believers, that she said: “The first thing that the Messenger of God began with from the revelation was the true vision in sleep, so he did not see a vision except that it came like the morning light, then he loved the solitude, and he used to be alone in the cave of Hira, so he would swear in it, which is the worship of the nights with The number before he goes to his family and supplies for that, then returns to Khadija and suppliesLike it until the truth came to him while he was in the cave of Hira, and the king came to him and said: Read. He said: I am not a reader. Read, and I said: I am not a reader, so he took me and pressed me for the third time, then sent me and said: Read in the name of your Lord. He who created the man who created man from the relationship, read and your Lord, the honorable who taught the pen, taught man, so he did not know, so he did not know, so he will come to the Messenger of God. Khadija said: No, by God, God will never disgrace you. You are up to the womb, bear all, win the needy, read the guest and help the calamities of the truth. The Hebrew book, so he writes from the Bible in Hebrew, God willingHe was writing, and he was an old man who had gone blind. Khadija said to him: O cousin, listen to your nephew. Waraqa said to him: O son of my brother, what do you see? So the Messenger of God told him what he saw, and Waraqah said to him: This is the law that God came to Moses, I wish I were alive when your people expel you, so the Messenger of God said: Or are my publishers? He said: Yes, no man cameNever the same as what I came with, but come back, and if your day realizes me, I will support you.

* Khadija was the first to believe, the first to be steadfast, the first to perform ablution and the first to pray. Shihab al-Din al-Qastalani said, “The first to believe in God and the friend of women was Khadija. By God, God never disgraces you, then I inferred from what he had of attributes, morals, and traits that whoever wasHe is never ashamed.”
On the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: “Khadija was the first woman and man to believe in the Messenger.”
On the authority of Abu Rafi’, he said: “We will inform the Messenger of God on Monday, and Khadija arrived on the last Monday.”
Ibn Ishaq said: “Khadija bint Khuwaylid was the first to believe in God and His Messenger, and believed in Muhammad in what he brought, and supported him in his affairs.” The scholars agreed that Khadija was the first to believe. Ibn Abd al-Barr said: “She is the first to believe in God Almighty and His Messenger, and this The sayings of Qatada, Al-Zuhri, Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, Ibn Ishaq and a group, they said: Khadija was the first to believe in GodThe Almighty is men and women, and they did not exclude anyone.

Khadija moved from her previous role, which she played in establishing and preaching the Prophet, to a new role in supporting and assisting him in conveying the call, and confronting the polytheists and their turning away and aggression. On the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas, he said: “Khadija bint Khuwaylid was the first to believe in God and His Messenger, and Muhammad believed in the Messenger of God.” In what he brought from his Lord and supported him in his command, so he was not listening to anyoneThe polytheists have nothing to refute and deny him, except that God relieves him of it, confirming him, believing him, relieving him, and making it easy for him what he encounters from his people.

Khadija bint Khuwaylid died three days after the death of the uncle of the Prophet, Abu Talib bin Abdul Muttalib, in the month of Ramadan, three years before the migration in the year 619 AD, and she was sixty-five years old, and her station with the Messenger of God after he married her was twenty-four years and six months. And the Messenger of God buried her in Al-Hujun, and there was no prayer for funerals on that day, and he was grievedThe Prophet descended upon it and descended into its hole, and calamities followed the Messenger of God with the death of Abu Talib and Khadija, because they were among the strongest supporters of him and his defenders. In the year of grief, the Messenger of God did not forget his love for KhadijaAfter her death, he always praised her and did not marry her until she died in honor of her, and she was the example of a good and loyal wife, so she gave herself and her money to the Messenger of God and believed him when the revelation came down to him.

Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani said: “And Khadija died, according to the correct opinion, ten years after the mission in the month of Ramadan, and it was said: eight, and it was said: seven. The correct view is that her death was three years before the migration, and that was after the resurrection of AliThe right thing is in ten years.” Badr al-Din al-Ayni said, “Her death was three days after the death of Abu Talib.”
